The Simpsons Movie (2007)

After receiving a 7.4/10 from IMDb this movie  actually did pretty good. All In all it was pretty decent after all the wait when it became out In 2007. It was actually pretty clever they made a movie and did very will but I'm my opinion I like the T.V. series a little better.

Plot:

Homer adopts a pig who's run away from Krusty Burger after Krusty tried to have him slaughtered, naming the pig "Spider Pig." At the same time, the lake is protected after the audience sink the barge Green Day are on with garbage after they mention the environment. Meanwhile, Spider Pig's waste has filled up a silo in just 2 days, apparently with Homer's help. Homer can't get to the dump quickly so dumps the silo in the lake, polluting it. Russ Cargill, the villainous boss of the EPA, gives Arnold Schwarzenegger 5 options, forcing him to choose 4 (which is, unfortunately, to destroy Springfield) and putting a dome over Springfield to prevent evacuation. Homer, however, has escaped, along with his family. Can he stop the evil Cargill from annihilating his home town, and his family, who have been forced to return to Springfield?

Three Ages (1923)

For this film I would rate It about average a (5/10) even though IMDb gave it a little bit over average (7.1/10). This film was pretty good for a short and to add a ok comedy skit that lasted a little over a hour. Even though it was a silent I would say that it was " a pleasant and funny combination of slapstick and satire, period humor and romantic comedy."

Plot:

In his first independently produced feature film Buster tells of love and romance through three historical ages: the Stone Age, the Roman Age, and the Modern Age.

Angel Heart(1987)

Great novel that was written then was made into a movie by William Hjortsberg. Although it was given a 7.3/10 for the film from IMDb it did pretty well. Although I haven't really gotten to far into the novel the screen writer (Alan Parker) did pretty good on following the book.

Reviews that I've read and agreed that was really good points and opinions:

" I was stunned at what this film did to me. An absolutely brilliant display of psychological horror. Alan Parker made the scariest film of the eighties, maybe the scariest film of the second half of the century with this picture."
(Tideprince)

" "Angel Heart" deserves to be considered Alan Parker's masterpiece. The direction is truly amazing, as Parker drives us deeply through a meticulously prepared dark atmosphere, full of allegories and secret hints."  (Jcatnettis)

Plot:

Harry Angel is a private investigator. He is hired by a man who calls himself Louis Cyphre to track down a singer called Johnny Favorite. But the investigation takes an unexpected and somber turn.

The Shining (1980)

This novel from Stephen King (The Shining) is a great novel. The movie was well written and I'll give it a 9 out of 10. I'll say it's one of my favorite movies in the early 80's.

Plot:

Jack Torrance becomes the caretaker of the Overlook Hotel up in the secluded mountains of Colorado. Jack, being a family man, takes his wife and son to the hotel to keep him company throughout the long and isolated nights. During their stay strange things occur when Jack's son Danny sees gruesome images powered by a force called "The Shining" and Jack is heavily affected by this. Along with writer's block and the demons of the hotel haunting him Jack has a complete mental breakdown and the situation takes a sinister turn for the worse.

Spring Breakers (2012)

As this movie has gotten alright reviews with IMDb giving it a 5.5 out of 10 which is reasonable. Taking Disney cast and putting them in these type of movies that really doesn't fit the charector they've played in previous shows into movies. As I was reading reviews for this there's a few I kinda agree apon:

" 1- so many repeating scenes and lines (without it the movie would have been like less than 30mins)"

" 3- so poor in dialogue, lines, and even story."

"4- the two blondes at the end killing a crowd of gangsters (everything's possible-ha!)" -
(a-purple) reviewer

In some ways I kind of agree with this reviwer (bigbro6060) all though I said the movie was alright:

" Just didn't like the editing, constant background music, micro flashbacks etc etc"

Plot:

Brit, Candy, Cotty, and Faith have been best friends since grade school. They live together in a boring college dorm and are hungry for adventure. All they have to do is save enough money for spring break to get their shot at having some real fun. A serendipitous encounter with rapper "Alien" promises to provide the girls with all the thrill and excitement they could hope for. With the encouragement of their new friend, it soon becomes unclear how far the girls are willing to go to experience a spring break they will never forget.

Banshee (TV series 2013-)

This t.v. series (Banshee) is actually pretty good. All In all theres no let down. I'll personally recommend this t.v. show because it has that thrill and gives that edge on wanting what's going to happen next. This show might be a little over the top for some people because of the violence, gore and thrill I'll rate this t.v. series a 8 out of 10.

Post:

Lucas Hood (Antony Starr), an ex-con and master thief assumes the identity of a murdered sheriff where he continues his criminal activities. His past seems to haunt him by those he betrayed years earlier. This ex-con imposes his own brand of justice where violence erupts at every turn in the not so quiet Amish town, Banshee, Pennsylvania.

Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn (TV series 2012-)

Based off the game the series was pretty good until the recent or last few halo games weren't that great In my opinion. I'll give the movie a 5 out 10 because it gives a good point of view what's going on in the game but it has its let downs. I say it's a let down because it doesn't really explain to much what the game is about, but gives you the important facts on who the main charter of the game and tv series.

Plot:

In 2525, as mankind has begun to colonise space, a group of cadets are training to fight against human insurrectionists. One of these cadets, Thomas Lasky, has doubts about his abilities as a soldier and his convictions for this war. Whilst he struggles with himself, the planet is invaded by an unknown alien race. Reeling under the assault, Lasky and his squad mates are rescued by John-117, one of the UNSC's legendary SPARTAN-II super-soldiers. John must inspire Lasky to fulfill his potential as a soldier and a leader to fight against an enemy deadlier than any that humanity has faced before.
